Water filters were sent to a school in the mountains of Jarabacoa. This initiative was part of a wonderful Christmas program where Surge enabled the manufacturing and distribution of filters to children from extremely poor families. Through this work, hundreds of families afflicted with extreme poverty will now have access to clean, safe water.
Water filters provide an effective, sustainable and accessible point of use method to bring clean water to those most in need. Various sources of water can be purified immediately for consumption and alleviate some of this global crisis.
